EMPOWERING UNDERSERVED COMMUNITIES THROUGH TECHNOLOGY

AFRALTI celebrated the remarkable achievements of a talented group of young learners from Mathare and Korogocho, who recently completed a rigorous 3-week advanced Cisco Networking and IoT training program. This transformative initiative was delivered in partnership with Leapfrog and funded by Stiftung Nord-Süd-Brücken through the BMZ (Bundesministerium für wirtschaftliche Zusammenarbeit und Entwicklung).

This program reflected a shared commitment to equipping underserved communities with critical digital skills needed to thrive in today’s rapidly changing technology landscape. By providing access to high-quality training, this initiative opened doors for young people to pursue meaningful careers and contribute to the growth of their communities.

Over the course of three weeks, participants engaged in hands-on learning led by AFRALTI’s expert instructors. The curriculum covered advanced topics in Cisco Networking and Internet of Things (IoT), equipping students with; Technical Skills, Problem-Solving Abilities and Future-Ready Competence – all aligned with emerging trends in tech and innovation.

As we applaud the accomplishments of these students, we also look forward to seeing the impact they will make in their communities and beyond. By empowering them with cutting-edge skills, we are not only shaping their futures but also contributing to the development of Africa’s technology landscape.
