Africa Cyber Defense Forum (ACDF) 2022
Through its well curated and world-class content, ACDF in strategic partnership with AFRALTI held its 3rd Edition of the forum in Nairobi, Kenya at the Crowne Plaza.
ACDF, is an annual cybersecurity event targeting different cities across Africa to bring together the world’s leading security experts, frontline heroes, government leaders, and executives from various industries to address the challenges of today’s threat landscape.
The 2022 forum which was the first inaugural in-person conference officially opened by Honorary Consul of Estonia in Kenya, brought together open minded, creative, forward-thinking technology experts, entrepreneurs, and individuals at the front line of information security, cyber defense technology, technology review, and business executives under the theme, “North-South Partnership Towards Response to Global Cyber Threats Beyond the Pandemic”
Speaking at the conference AFRALTI Director and ACDF Advisory Board Chairman, Mr. William Baraza said, “The cyber security forum is a platform that aims to bring together global minds to provide solutions that ensure continuous safe use of the cyber space for children, youth and adults on the African continent.”
The conference engaged in discussions on key thematic areas such as; Data Protection Regulations, National critical infrastructures, Cyber-Crime Reporting, Investigation and Prosecution, Mobile Money and Crypto Currency, Metaverse, NFTs Secure Internet Routing among many other sessions.
