AFRALTI HOSTS SUCCESSFUL ANNUAL LIAISON OFFICERS FORUM IN NAIROBI



AFRALTI proudly hosted its Annual Liaison Officers Forum at its headquarters in Nairobi, bringing together esteemed officers from its member states for a week of collaboration, knowledge-sharing, and strategic dialogue.

The forum saw participation from key representatives from Kenya, Uganda, Malawi, South Sudan, Zimbabwe, and Mozambique, representing their respective national telecommunications and ICT regulatory bodies. These included the Communications Authority of Kenya, Malawi Communications Regulatory Authority, National Communication Authority of South Sudan, the Uganda Communications Commission, The Postal and Telecommunications Regulatory Authority of Zimbabwe, and INCM – Autoridade Reguladora das Comunicações from Mozambique.

The Annual Liaison Officers Forum is a critical platform designed to foster cooperation and synergy among AFRALTI member countries. Through dynamic discussions, engaging workshops, and networking opportunities, liaison officers exchanged insights, shared best practices, and explored strategies to enhance the telecommunications and ICT sectors in their respective nations.

This year’s event focused on innovation, capacity building, and sustainable development within Africa’s digital landscape. Participants discussed the future of ICT regulation, digital inclusion, and ways to drive growth and transformation across the continent.

The success of this forum strengthens AFRALTI’s mission to empower member countries by creating a robust network of collaboration, ultimately advancing digital transformation across Africa.
